Seymour prototype

US manufacturer

Frank (1903-1987) and John Korkosz dedicated this model on October 20, 1937 in Seymour Planetarium at the Museum of Natural History (Springfield Museums today), Springfield, MA, USA.

7,150 stars, 7.5 feet tall.

Cleaned in 1976 and restored in January 1996 by Steve Pielock and Richard Sanderson.

Boston prototype

Dedicated on October 20, 1958 in the Charles Hayden Planetarium at the Museum of Science, Boston, MA, USA.

This prototype worked until September 6, 1970.
